Xiaomi Mi Band 2 coming soon

Mi Band has been one of the most affordable fitness tracker in the market for quite a long time. And now Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun has posted a picture of what looks like the Mi Band 2.
Xiaomi's incredibly cheap Mi Band and Mi Band Pulse have allowed the Chinese smartphone maker to find success in the wearable market in China. At $15 and $16 respectively, the Mi Bands are one of the most affordable wearable devices to come out of a respected technology company. And now thanks to Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun, we've gotten a glimpse of the Mi Band 2, the next generation of the activity tracker.
There is also a button on the front face of the smartwatch. From what we know, the wearable is expected to reduce its dependency on a smartphone. So it is expected to work independently.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 was unveiled along with Mi Max and two other accessories including the iHealth box and a 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank.

The Xiaomi Mi Max packs in a 6.44-inch phablet-sized display, includes a large 4850mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650/652 SoC with 3GB RAM.

The iHealth box will let users measure things that a smartband cannot. These would include deeper health-related metrics like the blood pressure, heart beats and more. It packs in a 4.3-inch display and will connect via Wi-Fi. The new power bank packs in 10,000mAh capacity in a slim body that measures 12.6mm.
